There are many deities at work in Arbressian of greater or lesser power, with a vast number of followers or just a chosen few. Out of all of them, the ones most widely known and revered are the Creator Gods. They were the group of divine beings who travelled together through the multiverse and came across a gigantic sphere made out of raw potential and began to form the building blocks of this new universe as told in
Material of Creation and the Seed of Possibility. Although other powerful entities later joined in on the creation process, only the first group to arrive are considered part of the Creator Gods.
Twelve of the Creator Gods have months named after them and their domains. Of the eighteen surviving Creator Gods after the Parting War, these are the ones considered to do their best to help mortals and keep balance in the world. The remaining six have a penchant for encouraging their followers to harm other sentient beings and/or destroy the environment in various ways. Therefore worship of these six is frowned upon or outright banned in most large centres of civilisation.
Aside from the eighteen survivors, there is one more powerful thing that can be considered part of this group. During the Parting War, some of the Creator Gods perished. No mortal knows how many or what their names were, but in the power vacuum caused by their deaths and the disappearance of their creations something else was formed. A void threatening to devour everything. The remaining deities managed to contain the void and seal it away, but there are people in Arbressian who worship the Void and wish for it to be freed.
