Marwan and Rasha Wasem turned out to be easy to find. The first guard Sonata asked directed her to the governor's abode as apparently her grandfather was governor for the Bonfire Ward in Coldsnap.

With the help of Seeming and some subterfuge, Sonata managed to get her and the other three a meeting with the governor and his wife. As it turned out, they had regretted sending Aziza away practically right away and had tried and failed to find her. Upon learning that Sonata was their granddaughter they were overjoyed and after some more conversation Marwan decided to step down as governor and he and Rasha wanted to relocate to be close to Aziza and Sonata.
