Campaign One Timeline

The four adventurers met for the first time (except the twins had already met, obviously).

The group acted as bodyguards for Nossvai Menel.

Chloe was panicked when Bell responded to one of her Sending spells that he had been taken by someone and was being transported while blindfolded.

After a very brief trip to Sandholm, Aon waited until the rest stepped through the tree portal to Wadesten and gave Noa a couple of letters before pushing him through. Aon let the portal close and stayed in Sandholm.

Astraea lost her life in the destruction of Sandholm Palace.

Thanks to oil of etherealness and Chloe's skills she managed to find and bring Astraea's body out of Sandholm Palace. Rona, with help from the twins and Godfrey, then managed to reincarnate Astraea as a tiefling.

Chloe's 23rd birthday was spent on the road while the group travelled to fight a dragon.

As the three remaining party members began to travel back towards Sandholm they came across a firbolg named Yelro. At first they had no idea that he was a firbolg as he spent the first few hours with them as a sloth. He was allowed to travel with them for the time being as they were headed to the same place.

Once the group reached Inhonoris they went to the rebellion's spy master there. A high elf woman named Elisven Thebella, she was also the owner of Thebella's Guesthouse where they would stay during their short time in the city.

While they were on a brief trip to Solmine, Sonata found out that Solenress had been beaten by her mother. Sonata was angry about this so she enlisted Noa's help in "pranking" her stepmother's mother. They stole some eggs and then egged her house. Noa also shot a bolt through one of the windows when Sonata asked him to break it. Afterwards they ran away as a chained dog in the yard barked at them.

During late evening when Demetrius was walking Sonata back home to her mother's theatre they were attacked by a mysterious drow. He cut Sonata down and was well on his way to stabbing the life out of Demetrius as well but Noa and Chloe came to save them after Demetrius had sent his bat, Hattie, to get them. They managed to defeat the drow and killed him. Sonata thought that there may be a resemblance between the drow and Solenress, her stepmother. Perhaps he was sent out by Solenress' mother to kill Sonata after her prank in Solmine.

Noa was woken up by his newly acquired sword speaking to him. He learnt that her name is Gloom and that she can give him power, all she asked for in exchange was the blood of his enemies. He accepted her offer and thus gained one level and unlocked more of her powers.

The twins had their 24th birthday and aside from getting them gifts, Chloe and Sonata arranged a surprise party for them at Aziza's theatre, inviting family and friends... and Lander. Yelro was also there and having been brought to Sandholm a couple of days before the day of the party he decided to awaken the Four Dragons' other horse Flurry to give Coco a friend. He also decided to awaken Demetrius' horse Penelope.

The group went to talk to Mika'Ela in Wadesten. She revealed that she knows why nature has been acting strange and destroying things and killing people. A thousand years ago her husband, Wolfram Gildenstern, made a wish to live for as long as nature lived around him. The wish backfired and nothing can live around him as he sucks the life force right out of it. Mika'Ela got him to the Dead Isles (that had another name before this) and managed to create a magical perimeter around them so that Wolfram's corruption won't spread to the rest of the prime material plane. The nature of his wish won't allow him to accept death and anyone who has tried to end his life before has failed and perished on the isles.

Rona performed the reincarnate spell on Solenress and through the help of Sonata, Selarius and Chadal it was successful. Solenress returned with the new body of a stout halfling. For now, she and her sons will be staying in the Four Dragons' apartment in Wadesten which they still had a month's rent paid for.

During their journey down towards the Underdark, the group met a drow woman with dyed red hair. They mistrusted her at first but they found out that she was a survivor from Solmine and had tracked the attackers to what appeared to be their stopping point and now she was heading back to ask for help. She believed that the attackers had captured her wife along with some other townspeople. As such she formed an alliance with the group to go rescue the other survivors and she guided them for days alongside the underground river leading deeper into the Underdark.

This day marks one year since Aon and Noa first met Chloe and Sonata and they forged a tentative alliance for their first job as an adventuring party.

The Four Dragons asked Rona to cast Transport via Plants for them once more. They headed to the closest tree Rona knew to Solmine again to start their journey to Coldsnap where Sonata wanted to find her mother's parents.

After a week spent in Coldsnap, going ice skating and skiing and having snowball fights among other things, the Four Dragons returned to the governor's abode where Marwan and Rasha were all packed and ready to go to Sandholm. Seeing that their assistant, a dragonborn girl named Gricoria Faldralimir, was incredibly upset about them leaving, Sonata invited her to come along as well and she happily agreed and hurried to pack a bag. Once they were all gathered again, Aon cast teleportation circle to bring them to Sandholm.

Sonata celebrated her birthday first with a picnic arranged by Demetrius. Then later in the day they threw a party at Aziza's theater, complete with the performance of a play.

The Four Dragons and Demetrius set out to explore the mining tunnels while Narina headed back to Coldsnap to warn the city about the dragon. The group came across a big block of ice blocking off one of the tunnels leading by an off limits area. In the ice they could see frozen bodies of Coldsnap guards. Once they had ascertained the location of the cult, Chloe used Sending to ask Sabal to come see Sonata by the blockage. Sonata, still hoping that her father wasn't the cult leader, was disappointed as he responded in the affirmative. They had a conversation and Sabal said that he would help Sonata kill the dragon if that was what she desired. After Sabal had gone back to the dragon's lair, the group decided that they had to kill the dragon before it healed enough to go destroy Coldsnap.

After the death of Sarovunun, Sabal took the group aside and told them about a plan he had created. In order for him not to be turned in to authorities in Coldsnap, they were to fake his death in front of the other cult members and then hide him away. While they were staging their fight, something happened as Noa cut into Sabal with Gloom, his sentient sword. Gloom became stuck in Sabal and the shadows around the blade were released and briefly formed the shape of a dwarf to the side. She regained her memories of her life before her soul was trapped in the sword and her soul was released, leaving a normal blade behind. Gloom's actual name was Branlynn and she had been a guard from Hilboldir before she was taken into captivity by drow and tortured by someone from the house of Duskrynd - the same house that Sabal was born into.

The trial of Sonata's father, Sabal, was a short one as he had chosen to confess his actions in Frost Forge. It was comprised of his account of the events and his actions and Sonata speaking as a character witness. After a roughly 45 minute deliberation by princess Ralenna, who was acting as judge, and her council Sabal was sentenced to one hundred years in prison.

After they got back to Sandholm and the mansion using one of Yelro's spells to get there quicker, Chloe told Noa that she's pregnant.

After thirteen hours of labour, assisted by Yelro as the midwife, Chloe gave birth to twins. Siri, a half-elf like her parents, and Iris who gave them some concern as she was completely blue but after a moment they realised that she's a water genasi.

The Four Dragons made their way to the spider cave by Aon's teleportation spell. Once inside, they had a quite brief fight against Bonny, Kira and a few undead. Aon used the spell hold person very effectively and they managed to tie up both Kira and Bonny before they could do much damage. But as they tried to carry Kira with them, she started screaming in agony and something burst out of the back of her head. A tiny creature with long hair-like tendrils with sparks of energy running up and down them. Segments of bone, like rings around its tiny body for protection and a long needle thin stinger stood out with their off-white colour against its otherwise flesh coloured body. It also had a mouth full of sharp fangs.

The trial of Kira and Bonny took place. Kira was sentenced to six months of house arrest and five years of being forbidden from using magic. Bonny was sentenced to three months of house arrest. They were to be kept in a room in the Sandholm mage tower for their house arrest.

After doing some research about Contraria, the country that Kira was from, Aon teleported together with Sonata and Yelro. Having never been there, only studying maps, they ended up in a different forest than Aon had intended. However, that turned out to be a bit of luck as they ended up closer to the forest where Kira's parents were living. Using Yelro's wind walk they could cover a lot of distance in a short time and they found a small hut where it looked like people had been living. Yelro used magic to make them a hiding place nearby and they settled down to wait.

Sonata and Demetrius got married at dawn in the backyard of the Four Dragons mansion with just a chosen few present.

The now Three Dragons and Demetrius lived in Chloe's Magnificent Mansion for a couple of days while waiting for the life draining effect of the Dead Isles to go away. Once Chloe messaged people on the main land that it was over, Mika came to them. She cast Wind Walk on everyone and as clouds they returned to Wadesten. There Mika, having heard what happened to Aon, offered to cast True Resurrection to bring him back. They went to a back room in her store where she had set up a ritual space. After the hour long ritual and touching pleas from the remaining three, the very expensive spell components were used up but Aon did not come back. Mika said that there was something preventing the spell from taking effect.
