Scrivener Technology

The Scrivener is a tool that revolutionized the writing process. This handy magical device is a pen that is able to perform the "Auto- Scribe" funtion. If the owner programs the Scrivener with their thoughts and ideas, the Scrivener processes the owner's desires and translates it onto an empty canvas. This item has many practical uses: students can take notes while engaging with their instructor, set to writing tasks, or as a tool for the owner's artistry.

In this Article, we'll take a look at the technology that revolutionized the printing industry: the Scrivener and the Scrivener Press.

Utility

The Scrivener is a personal device that can automatically write text based on the owner's Will. It can continuously work for 6 hours before it needs to recharge at a rate of 1 Hour. It can also draw while other varieties of the Scrivener can be used for painting.

Enchanters enjoyed the new Sodor, a device that replaced older methods of enchanting. This led to a change in the programming language that enchanters used to enchant items.

While the Scrivener revolutionized the publishing and magical item market, there was still a question on designer's minds: how can we create a system for mass production?

It was Pensdale Group, a company of Alchemists and artists led by founder Dophie Pensdale, that answered the question with the Scrivener Printer. As advances were made in Scrivener technology, the pinnacle of Pesdale's creations is the Scrivener Press. This machine is able to handle the jobs of multiple printers, mass producing publications faster than ever before!

Today, the Scrivener- or as popularized, the SCRIB- is now a household commodity! From children and students to adults of all ages, the Scrivener can be found anywhere paper products are sold!

Manufacturing

First, ink is specially prepared by an Alchemist or Enchanter. The ink is primed with magical energy and allowed to rest inside a pot. Shed the tip of a quill or pen. Casting Fantasia through the pen, the artisan focuses the spell until the pen "sings". While the instrument is touching the ink, the Amanuensis spell is concentrated into the head of the pen. The ink is absorbed into the tip of the pen until all the ink from the pot is accumulated into an absolutely finite point at the head of the pen. The ink is now ready to be applied and the Scrivener can be used. This consumes the ink within the pot; recycle pot. The process to infuse a Scrivener takes approximately an hour.
