Hero's rest

Hero's Rest is a city that was established a number of years ago it has quickly became known as the final destination of Adventurers. As many of the first Famous adventurers and heroes originated from this city. Hero's Rest got its name for the large tiered graveyard in the center of the city it serves to keep its residences humble, as well as to serve as a source of income for the city.

Government

The government of Hero's Rest is ran by a Council of 8. These pillars of the community rise to this status due to their contribution to the city as a whole.   Laws regarding entry to the city: 1. all spellcasters must be registered at the city entrance 2. all magical items, familiars, and animal companions must be registered at the city entrance 3. all non-citizens must relinquish possession of weapons larger than a club or sharper than a dagger. (basically only non-lethal weapons OR tools allowed in the city) for the duration of your stay.

Industry & Trade

This City imports: crystals and marble for statues and funeral rites and Silver for religious ceremonies. This city exports Bloodbark Lumber and Spell components.

Geography

Hero's Rest sits in an interesting location, it was originally build in an icy desert but over the years the Plains thawed to the point where life can flourish. Currently it sits in a tundra surrounded by large hills and sparse evergreen trees with some wild trees located in the Graveyard of Heroes.

Natural Resources

Hero's Rest has semi-successful farms scattered around the outlying areas of the city. The obtain Iron from a near-by mine. There are plenty of natural creatures to hunt for food as well. Their major export is Bloodbark Lumber obtained from the Graveyard of Heroes, it is used in Funeral rites throughout the Wildlands.
