The High Judit is the symbolic leader of Lessos. Living in paranoid isolation in an island keep off the mainland of Montevillo, The High Judit is regarded by most as mentally unstable and eccentric. They are therefore dismissed as fairly insignificant by the monarchy.
The High Judit is one of the greatest scholars of ancient religion and the old gods. They are only permitted to study these subjects due to their apparent mental illness and ineptitude, and the King and Queen pay them little mind. They are largely neutral in political conflicts and matters of injustice, maintaining an attitude of self-preservation. They have ties to very few people throughout the Empire.
