Themiscyra
Deep within the wastelands a thirty foot tall wall rises from the dunes, the luscious green tops of trees can be seen over its bright white walls. Passing through the large gates reveals a bustling city surrounding a lush oasis the size of a lake.

Government
Representative council composed of members from each district. Individual districts are largely autonomous. The Defenders of Themiscyra (DoT), also maintain a seat on the council and though they usually abstain on non-military matters, do posses a vote, and even the right to over-rule the others if a matter is important to the defense and survival of the city.
Districts
Agricultural District - The largest district by area. While it does not sit directly on the lake, it does have many shallow irrigation cannals being steadily fed by small pumps.
Market District - All major trade takes place within the Market. Set just inside the western gate it is busy at all times of day. Each quarter for the week before the Line arrives there is an almost weeklong celebration, the hotels and bars swelling to maximum capacity as nomads arrive with things they've scavenged from the wastes.
Manufacturing District - Located to the north of the Market, along the other side of the rails, lies the Manufacturing District. Producing everything from raw wood and bolts of cloth to some of the finest silks and furniture, the craftsmen of Themiscyra have a long history of skilled manual crafting. Conversely, they do not have the larger industrial base of Avalon, or the raw mineral resources of Mekann.
Residential District - Distributed amongst the other districts and clustered around the lake, the Residential District controls all residential dwellings from apartment buildings to vacation homes. They are also responsible for maintaining the sewers and the streets.
