Though at the time it seemed a small event, the founding of the People's Army of Ramiron by Amemnon Kaldar was the first step on the path to the formation of the Kaldar Imperium, an immense, multi-national faction which would rule most of the world for millennia.
Amemnon Kaldar was already an influential religious figure in the Insiron province in Valdur where the cities of Ramiron and Sorindel lay, famous for his insightful words and philosophies which could "rekindle the faith in the faithless". The moment he mustered a great army through simple words to march upon Sorindel and free it from it's tyrant ruler Obarin Redborne is widely considered by historians to be the beginning of the Rise of the Kaldar Imperium. Kaldar was treated with both respect and wonder, but also confusion and suspicion. His rise to power saw the newly formed People's Army of Sorindel grow at a massive rate, inspiring wonder all across the region. People travelled far and wide to join him in his religious crusade. Within weeks, the People's Army had (mostly peacefully) conquered the Insiron province, the People's Army becoming a large player in national diplomacy but also the target of fear and suspicion. As the Army grew larger, more cities fell to his divine allure, many willingly joining Kaldar. Cities that were not willing watched as cities around them surrendered to Amemnon- Legend has it, he never marched on cities that did not willingly want him as ruler- he simply waited for the restless civilian populace to rise against the stubborn leaders and embrace his growing army. 117 years later, on the 60th of Moonshine 53,178, Amemnon established the Kaldar Imperium, now a large empire spanning a portion of Central Valdur. Though it was smaller than many empires in Valdur at the time, it had grown in a fraction of the time and showed no signs of stopping.
