Military action
By the 12th of Moonshine in 58,500, Kaldar was beginning to set his eyes on smaller but highly valuable territories to conquer, now that Taurin and Valdur were in his hands, as well as well-established colonies in Tsiro, Diskar, Merdis and Kasre. Kotoxi Mari's natural resources made it a target for conquering- Kaldar also despised greenskins, and wanted to take more territory from the "murderous savages".
On the 12th of Moonshine in 58,500, Kaldar ordered a diplomatic fleet to arrive at Akuma City, a city that, at the time, was full of wealthy aristocrats and defended by an expensive mercenary militia. Not entirely to Kaldar's surprise, the leaders of Akuma immediately surrendered to the will of the Kaldar Forces. The wealth of Akuma's richest was taken and used to grow the city and stabilise it, turning it into a more balanced settlement, and was soon populated by fleets of low-security convicts who helped grow the city to a new scale. But importantly, Akuma became a military camp for the Kaldar, a waypoint to stay before conquering other settlements in Kotoxi Mari. In 58,580, Kaldar diplomatic fleets amassed at Yudex City. The leaders of Yudex refused Kaldar's offer of integration, and instead urgently consulted the leaders of Akuma City. The two cities agreed to hold their own, knowing they had the land advantage. Kaldar did not try and conquer them by force, and instead waited them out, continuing his campaigns in the rest of the world, and helping Akuma grow to a new scale. In 59,004, Yudex was attacked by a massive hobgoblin assault and was critically wounded. They could not refuse when the Kaldar Imperium sweeped in to offer them protection. The hobgoblins were repelled, but Yudex was claimed for the Kaldar Imperium. The leaders of Alduran were furious that Yudex fell so easily, and prepared military forces on the edges of their city. In a brutal yet swift war in 49,400, Alduran was soon conquered, leaving the individual villages and towns that surrounded them helpless- many of them soon surrendered to the Kaldar Imperium. By 59,960, Kaldar's campaign was completed and the civilised areas of Kotoxi Mari were under his control, until the Reclamation Wars.
