Town of the Lost Sinners
Infrastructure
From the refineries to the many mining stores, as well as mines themselves found up in the mountain, it's clear that this town was once a blossoming mining center which could easily both refine and smith it's own gear. Due to a lack of any factories though, this town is found to be at least four hundered years old, but it could span up to a thousand.
Districts
The Infested East:
This district makes up several streets and corners. The entire east of the town in truth, having once been a beautiful part of it's old town, which slopes up on the mountain from it's flat area. Nowadays, it's just a maze of webs and queer organic tissue where spiders and cultists crawl enmasse. Apart of this district is also an old museum, a massive statue in the middle of the square, of the Demon Sire though his figure has a massive dead spider etched into his back, looking like eight wings from his spine. It also has an old goldmine at the depths of the webb, filled with old secrets - presumeably.
Nightblade Row:
A small street of the town, barricaded by the united forces of the Normanian Fire Brigade and the Iron Wings. It currently consists of but five houses. Two being barracks for the respective organizations, middle a command centre and besides them an armoury and hospital. Because the front entry is too dangerous for smaller crews to reach the row, there's also been a tunnel dug from the command centre out to a guarded garrison behind it.
Arachnoid Square:
A heavily infested square, to the south of the town. This place features a large tower, which is believed to be the local cultists hideout although human forces have not been able to reach it yet. On top of the tower, there is also a figurine of a spider showing, which casts it's shadow over the town whenever the sun is out.
Guilds and Factions
The town itself is ripe with different factions in an all out war against one another. On one side, there is Quentin roc Morin and his Iron Wings leading the charge, with his arch-frenemy Wulf deu Feuerstanz competing with his Fire Battalion, of whom can retrieve the most clues to the location of the Bloodblade, from the hands of the enemy. Helping them is the Nightingales, whom are on a hunt for old relics and knowledge, as well as funding from the Oquitaine Merchants Union whom wish to see the legendary weapon retrieved.
Standing against them is the brood of the Arachnowyrm, accompanied by the Spider Cult, which serves as their more powerfull and intelligent consorts in the quest for stopping the Oquitaine funded expedition from disturbing them. To their help, they've also got the Cabal of Carnal Lust who seek to destroy the nobles funding the mission, before they could potentially succeed.
Architecture
The old buildings of the town is carved out of stone, likely from the mountain mines themselves. It's a gothic architecture, with many cathedralesque buildings and large open windows that once would've shone a brilliant light inside, but is now filled with too much ash and dust on the screens to properly light the place. Any colour as well, has also been weathered away by the cold climate and usual snowfall so far up on the altitude. It is however likely, that once Gothian people resided up here untill something caused them to not reside there anymore.
