Nasrad (Nasrad)

Nasrad is the capitol of Merew and the largest city on the continent. It is a port city located right where the river Tawil reaches the ocean. The city lies right between the coast and the nearby mountain chain. The city is one of the oldest in the world and many houses and temples are directly built over ruins that are thousands of years old. The city also serves a religious centre for the merewic people’s, since the king is seen as a godly descendant and also performs the role of highest authority within the church. The city is littered with statues depicting many gods from the pantheon but by far the most common one is Ohdeas, the golden phoenix and Bás lord of the dead.
