The Oculis Achademy
The Oculis Achademy is a organisation located in the Northeastern part of the Nisián archipelago that specializes in teaching divination and magic.
The Organisation was founded 200 years ago by a group of wizards and seers who wanted to pass on the gift to the next generation. Their main goal is to produce powerful divinators that can the go out into the world into the courts of local rulers to steer the world into a better future.
The Chool takes in children from all walk of life, everything from unwanted noble children to orphans whos parents wanted them to have a better life. Not evenryone is fit to be an oracle however. Those who don't posses the gift will instead be put on the path of archane studies, if the individual shows prowess in this field they will be trained as a mage. The Mages are there as companions and powerful protectors of the schools oracles. The students are encouraged to for close bonds with their chosen other half. The Mage must always be loyal to their divinator and they must both show absolute allegiance to the school.
After many years of study the Oracle must segregate themselves on the top of the mountain in a small sancuary built in the clouds. Here they must meditate undisturbed untill they unlock their final potantial. This can take anything from months to even decades, the divinator can only come out of their trans to eat. While this process undergoes, the Mage companion is sent out to travle the world, learn of its dangers and prepare theirs skills for when their partner is ready to come down.
When the oracle has been enlightened the to will be reunited at the school and then be assigned through a cind of auction to a fitting home. Not everyone manages to get through their final trial, these individuals are either completely shunned from the school or encuraged to take up minor staff roles at the school.
To outsiders the school is often compared to a cult and many commoners are very suspicious of its members. There a conpiracy theories that the School secretly controlls the entire world.
