Altwald

Situated on the southern tip of the Brytnian Woods, Altwald is one of the newer settlements of the region; founded during the second wave of humanity's re-settlement of the land after Antecea fell.

As Fürcenburg grew and its citizens expanded outward, another lumber town was needed to facilitate the growth. Altwald's position on the Lonely River made it an obvious choice for settlement and mill construction. Altwald's strategic position at the edge of Fahren Plain has made it an important military fixture against would-be raiders from the Riskant Expanse
