Eidun
An island city situated in the middle of Lake Arthur. Some say that it used to be a peninsula until a great flood wiped out the surrounding lowlands, sparing only the castle situated on an overlooking hill. Regardless of origin, Eidun served as the final staging ground for humanity's reclamation of Eodur, where a great navy launched from the island and sailed into the great city's harbor. During the lengthy invasion and re-stabilization of the city, a permanent residence built up in the fortress, which eventually grew into a city with a vibrant fishing economy.
Despite insistences that an entire city was sunk at some point (most scholars point at a pre-Antecean time period), no such ruins have ever been found beneath the lake. However, Arthur's waters run deep and some speculate that portals to the Plane of Water occasionally open beneath the depths.
Eidun's close proximity to Eodur proved to be its undoing: It was quickly swallowed by the Extraplanar Dome that originated from Eodur. The city's ultimate fate is unknown, but the outlook isn't good.
