Freeth and Dominic
The twins Freeth and Dominic were always a bit "different." All twins tend to share some level of unspoken connectivity, but Freeth and Dom were unique in that they were quite literally the same person. They were two bodies, but they were shared among one soul. What one felt, so did the other. Tales of such souls affix the name Dvati to them, but as far as Freeth and Dominic knew, they were the only ones like this.
As good little disciples of Dualism, Freeth and Dom found that their interconnectivity acclimated them well to the warrior creed of the Knights of the Spiral. They became skilled paladins, quested to uphold an oath of glory.
When they became of age, they set off on a crusade to form a guild of like-minded individuals that they affixed with an amalgamation of their names: Freedom!
For years, they traveled across The Province of Horizon and the Anhangian region of The Province of Kentro. Eventually, they found themselves crossing paths with the adventuring party attempting to combat the forces of Shepherd. Believing this to be a worthy goal, the pair joined with them.
Unfortunately, this would prove to be their undoing. The twins fought valiantly to defend the city of Crucible from the undead horde, but were slain by the lich himself in so doing. In an act of depravity, Shepherd re-animated the twins to fight on his behalf. Fortunately, the twins were quickly freed from the lich's grasp and put fully to rest when their fellow adventurers cut down the lich. They attempted to revive the paladins, but were ultimately unsuccessful.
Instead, the twins received a hero's burial and are interred in the crypts of St. Merridan's Cathedral; the very same cathedral Shepherd was defeated in.
