Overlook

A castle city that guards the pass into the Gilded Plains. It is situated on the highland ridge of the Eordwall foothills and looks out over the Comblands to the east. It was originally founded shortly after Estmere as a stopgap between the burgeoning great city and any would be invaders from the east.

It has served its purpose well. To this day, its fortress has never been successfully occupied by an invading enemy (though the settlement itself has not been so lucky).
