The Temple of Burning Night

As a reward for his party's successful rescue mission of King Aurum Fortis' daughter, Eladan  was gifted a plot of land within the city of Sigil, which he used to create a new temple dedicated to...   ...himself.    Eladan had previously constructed a similar shrine in Crucible, but now with reality-warping magic at his disposal, he was able to conjure a building far "worthier" of his holiness. Long had Eladan sought to supplant his father Logira as the god of fire, and now he had the infrastructure necessary to truly begin the process.   Over the next year or so, Eladan found some success in gathering a small flock of penitent priests and followers (many of whom were enticed by the concept of free room and board). The name itself was derived from a conversation with the matron of the Roaring Peak tabaxi clan, who indicated that the tabaxi name for a living person born under the conditions Eladan described as "Burning Night," which he thought sounded badass.    With Eladan's eventual discarding of his corporeal flesh to join his spirit with Logira's after the latter's defeat atop the Fire Plane's Planar Spire, the fate of the Church of Burning Night and its primary temple is very much up in the air. Curiously though, even after Eladan's "death," his disciples still claim to converse with him from the Temple's Allfire as they always have since the temple's founding...
