Wilheim
General Wilhelm Stricher was one of the greatest military minds of the 700s and was the mastermind behind a siege that ousted a 5-generation dynasty from Fürcenburg. It is said the grateful lord offered Wilhelm anything within his power to offer, and the general chose a simple plot of land on the banks of the Lang. Puzzled as to why he wouldn't want to live in Fürcenburg, Wilhelm stated only that he was ready to retire. Whether it was good fortune or a keen analysis of how the lord would rule, Fürcenburg was invaded and a good portion of it burned only a few years later resulting in the death of the lord and his inner circle.
Wilhelm lived out the rest of his days on his estate which steadily grew over the years as a major trading hub along the river.
