Archangels

In the year 2336, humanity makes several breakthroughs in science, medicine, and technology all in rapid succession. Earth entered a golden age that seemed to never end. They soon turned their eyes to the stars. There were already plans to colonize mars, and its moons, as well as our own. As the first colonies launched, the stars came to us, with weapons in their alien, robotic hands. One weapon, dropped on earth's largest city, had the power to make a new valley, and pull mountains around that valley. This threat is beyond anything humanity could do to itself.   War turned a once thriving Earth populated by over nine billion into two cities only twenty million each. Now humanity is in a dark age, and struggling to survive. A new weapon capable of combating this threat now rolls off the assembly line. They are called the Titans. Each one standing between fifteen, to twenty-five feet tall. Their pilots are the Archangel titanmasters. This unit is now the only thing between the alien threat, and humanity's surviving few.
