Mechrion Mothership

This supermassive vessel once rested its tip on our Moon. Its destructive power is unlike anything else that humanity has ever seen. A single blast from its main cannon was destructive enough to turn Earth's largest city, into a valley with mountains surrounding that valley. No one knows why they only used it once, and hopefully they never will. Now, several more of these things make their way to our world. Each one with the same weapon that destroyed Earth's largest city, and ruined years worth of crops.
