Alduvar Snowbrand is a wizard-cum-merchant who hails from parts unknown. The former war wizard came to Archendale about a decade ago and purchased the fruit exporting business Jendalar's Fine Fruits with the money saved from his military career as a war wizard in Cormyr. Since then Alduvar has run his small trading empire alongside Selni Ravenhair fairly and efficiently, paying higher than average prices for the fruits he purchases from the local Archenfolk and selling them at top market prices in locations seemingly impossibly far flung. He is mostly a very private citizen of the dale that keeps to himself, but he has shown interest in the occasional traveler purported to be carrying powerful or unique magic. He may be willing to trade with someone whom he trusts.
