The Darkwater Brand

The Darkwater Brand is a merchant guild headed by the wealthy Dakker Family. They are the largest guild of traders in Archendale and have gained a monopoly on the ore and metal trade which they exploit to ruthlessly fix prices and set quotas on ore extracted by Archenfolk from the foothills of the Thunder Peaks. The Swords of Archendale are too reliant upon the guild's trade routes to take any effective action against the company and has lead to a stalemate of sorts. For now the Darkwater Brand and in turn the Dakker family continue to wield out sized influence in the day to day business of Archendale.
While headquartered in Archenbridge, Darkwater Brand also maintains guildhalls in  Ordulin and Hillsfar.
