Find the Shiny
A game often played by Kobolds , which is eerily similar to pick-pocketing, armed robbery, grave robbing, or looting, depending on the variation being played. There is considerable variation in the rules of this game, however, a view universal standards have been found:
- A kobold must find a shiny from outside his or her tribe.
- The game is best played when the players are not noticed by non-players.
- If non-players notice the Find the Shiny team, it may become a game of Bop the Unsuspecting Bystander.
- Conversely, a game of Find the Shiny may break out after winning a game of Bop the Unsuspecting Bystander
History
Kobold sages tell of the history of this game going back tens, if not hundreds, of months. No one really remembers what happened before that
Execution
Key strategies include:
- Take everything that isn't nailed down.
- You can carry more if you swallow some shinies
- Use big shinies to carry smaller shinies.
Components and tools
No tools are required, however lock-picks, crowbars, and equipment for a game of Bop the Unsuspecting Bystander are often used.
Participants
All participants are obliged to carry shinies, however, the kobold who first found the shiny is called the Shiny-Finder until the next game is played.
Observance
This game is played as often as possible, so long as shinies are available and not nailed down.
