Elavel Hills

A small but sturdy range of mountains shelters The Spiritwood from the harsh, dry winds of the Windvast Desert. This range is the Elavel Hills, and despite its proximity to the desert, its cool peaks catch significant moisture blowing from the ocean. Rain frequents the misty mountaintops, forming countless small rivers that feed the forest. Felenor River flows southwestward into the plain of Felenor, while the wide Serpent River slithers its way throughout the Spiritwood.
