Our neighbors are bloody fools. Who in their right mind would drop their entire life and home on the whim of some ruin-digger? Why would anyone be gullible enough to believe that nonsense? If they found stone hieroglyphs telling us to go drown in the lake, would my neighbors go for a dive? The whole conspiracy is so obviously a ploy to claim abandoned land. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Watchers are behind this.
It’s incredible that so many people believe it, too. Thousands of people across multiple kingdoms, packing up to head to the northwest plains. All because they’re afraid of a bunch of water. We’ve sailed the ocean for decades; now they’re afraid of it because of some dumb old library?
Leaving Shalador Kingdom is treason, it’s as simple as that. If too many citizens flee, then our home will be undefended, and THEN there will actually be danger. It’s so frustrating that so few people understand that. They’re willing to just leave our realm vulnerable to invasion because they think they’re boosting their own chances for survival. It’s selfish, and I hope the Queen’s forces act swiftly to fight against this idiotic emigration.
