Shadaria

In the heart of The Spiritroots lies the dominion of the shadar-kai. It consists of a handful of tribal villages surrounding the central city of Maesica. Ink-decorated cavern walls, totemic wooden carvings, and skulls from hunted beasts are often used to inform travelers of their proximity to the territory.

While the shadar-kai are not hostile to outsiders, they have a rigid and formalistic culture and tend to distrust them.
