The East Edge

Twenty miles east of Dawn Island is the edge of Archestria. It is best summarized as an invisible wall that seems to stretch endlessly in all directions. Moving eastward, there is a point at which time begins to slows down, creating the impression of entering a thick invisible goo. This effect is gradual: the flow of the ocean's waves become slower and slower going eastward, until finally they do not move, frozen in time. Wind and clouds do not seem to pass through the barrier; only light can pierce it. The world beyond the edge appears colorless, silent, and grayscale, and the ocean and clouds beyond it are frozen solid.
