The First Bank of Bymere
The First Bank of Bymere was established as an experimental way for people to save their money. After a spate of thefts people were looking for a more secure way to store their valuables, particularly if they were travelling out of town for a while. For a small establishment fee and a minor upkeep fee each month they could put their money into the newly built vaults at the Bank and have it securely guarded twenty-four seven. The peace of mind appealed to many and so the experiment period began with resounding success.
