Emir Khe'dive Zaki's rise to power is hotly debated throughout the Shataran area. No one really knows how he actually came to be the Emir, but as much good as he has done for the area most don't argue with it.
Khe'dive looks like he is in his late 20's, possibly early 30's, but no one really knows how old he is exactly. Not even those on his council know his real age.
Khe'dive has an affinity for beautiful women and good wine. He has been known to take in courtesans', but the word that has gotten out about them is that he treats them very well and that he is a gentlemen with them even though that doesn't how it appears on the outside. He is also said to be an "ass" to those new to his presence and that he doesn't want to entertain for long.
