Trotz
Trotz is a Dunkelung living in the slums of the city Gentzker. Their child, Heldi, worked at the Aufzug Institute in Shtiek and was assigned 15 years ago to a project offworld that they referred to as "Project Archaeon." This is indeed the same infamous research project that resulted in a betrayal by the institute's collaborators and the Dunkelung researchers' famous last stand against this act of evil.
Trotz, however, does not accept that Aufzug shut down the project and retaliated against their aggressors. They believe the institute destroyed their offworld facility to save face with their people, but then continued the collaboration in secret for their own gain. Thus, Aufzug is the ultimate warlock in the eyes of Trotz, and must be punished.
