Two species, one cephalopoid and the other amphibian, agree to unify their peoples by hybridization. In galactic sector 2[B,i] they descend upon the closest planet to the star Giltred and begin deployment of a prefab ecumenopolis. The planet will gradually usurp its star as “Giltred,” a testament to its centrality in the grand civilization that is to come.
