Aggoran Elves

  • The Aggoran Clan of Wood Elves have a long history with intunement with nature.
  • There are many druids among them.

Structure

  • At the head of the Aggoran Clan is an elected White Whisp who acts as the chairman to 10 elected head of household members.
  • In addition there is a head family member who is chosen from the 10 oldest living family members of noble classes and acts as the family Sage.
  • Then every family in the clan selects a representative from the family to voice on behalf of that family in meetings.

Culture

  • The culture of the Aggoran Elves is heavily respectful of nature and in living in a way that takes into accout the princiapls and ways of nature in every facet.
  • Scholars of the clan study the ways of nature and bring forward ideas of how to be more intune with the natural world.
  • The Aggoran Elves were threatened by a band of roaming human fighters and bandits before the Lamis Plague, and are thus distrusting of species who do not follow the ways of nature. Unions of family members with humans is thus looked-down upon and can result in shunning and exile at it's worst and disapproval and mistrust at best.
  • The Aggoran Elves prize respect of nature and family above all else, often looking at what is best for the many over the individual. Though individual freedom and autonomy is celebrated and encouraged in pursuits of creativity, knowledge, and skill.
  • The Aggoran Elves have little dispute among themselves and tend to live in peaceful harmony. Apart from a few "Hallow-dwellers," family members who have found isolation to be preferrable to community and often make their dwellings inside the hollows of old trees, the Aggoran Elves love to be around one another socializing, creating, learning, and sharing crafts and ideas that improve all their lives.
  • The clan is very giving to one another and will share it's excess freely with it's members. Inside the clan most members trade and barter rather than use the currency of the outside world. This currency is reserved for the rare item bought from a passing merchant trader or for anyone who needs or desires to travel in the outside world.

Public Agenda

  • Their agenda is to live evermore intune with the ways of nature. In harmony and in learning. Fostering relationships with the natural world and other like-minded beings.

Assets

  • Limited external currancy, which only comes in through the Peaqio, the trade-market hub, where clan outsiders come to buy the Aggoran elves superior goods and services.
  • Many superior goods made among their people.
  • Many loyal animals who lead autonomous or (if chosen) domestic lives by the Aggoran elves' sides.

Territories

Military

  • None.

Technological Level

  • The Aggoran people appriciate ingenuity and invention formed from natural ingredients, which is the extent of their technology.
  • Science in the form of astronomy, physics, biology, chemistry, "Du" what they call the source of magic, and alchemy are above average.

Foreign Relations

  • The Aggoran Elves keep to themselves, but interactions with the outside world are peaceful.
  • Aggoran Elves are known for being honest, fair, intelligent, and hardworking and are therefore well-respected by the traders and outsiders they interact and have relationships with.
  • Occasionally outsiders are even welcomed to come live among them without having unioned into the family through a romantic relationship.
