Description

The original fetchlings were not the monstrous creatures you fight today, but were the descendants of elves, orcs, humans and others who followed the Shadow's extraplanar exile after being dislodged from Arda. Over time, they intermixed, and were steeped in the Shadow's magics. Their blood, now black and sludge-like as crude oil, has taken on magical properties of its own, including the ability to stifle healing and corrupt non-Shadow creatures.
