Description

Ley sickness is a physical sickness associated with an intense and/or sudden change of magical pressure in an area, flowing in and out of their bodies. While rarely an issue for trained mages, the condition has a greater effect on those without Power, or young mages whose bodies are not yet familiar with regulating external magical pressure. The symptoms often include nausea, vomiting, and fatigue. This condition is most often felt in places of intense magical energy or numerous spellcasters, such as wizard colleges, holy sites or places with numerous magical items. While it can't be cured by magical or mundane means, its symptoms can be treated, and will run its course after the person's body acclimates to their environment.
