The Host of Valinor descend on Melkor / Morgoth

The Third War, the Battle of Powers, ensued as the Host of Valinor descended on Morgoth, driving him back into Utumno where he was captured and chained by Tulkas. The Elves were then invited to return to Valinor with the Valar, and the Great Journey began where many Elves travelled across Endor to the Western Coast to sail for Aman. Morgoth was held prisoner in the Halls of Mandos.
