Valar leave Endor for Aman and establish Valinor

The Valar then left Endor for Aman, the western continent, and build the kingdom of Valinor. There Yvanna grew the Trees of Light, the White Tree Telperion and the Gold Tree Laurelin, which filled all the undying lands with a blessed light while Endor was plunged into the Age of Darkness. The light that reached Endor was never brighter than twilight and Varda’s stars were the main light source. Morgoth then ruled Endor from Utumno. He built his second stronghold of Angband in the North West and placed it under the command of his Maiar Sauron, who had previously served Aule. This begins the count of years
