Astrei Enclave
The governing body of
Thera, the Astrei Enclave is made up of the cloistered scholars, druids, monks, sages and others who live and work in Thera. This also includes the small subset of adventures and wanderers who are out in Ardicil conducting tasks and research for the council away from the comforts of Thera.
At the top of the organization lies the High Star Council, and is made usually made up of 13 members. They are tasked with the responsibility of guiding the Enclave, and also with interpreting the will of the stars and planes. Two prominent positions include the Grand Leader and the Master of the Stars. The Grand Leader is an elected position, done by the council themselves. The Master of the Stars is a position reserved for the oldest and wisest member of the Enclave. Members of the High Star Council are chosen from the current council.
Most other members take up roles needed across the Enclave. Everything from Sages to fishermen are found without the order, and each is just as important as the next. Thus, most of the organization is flat, save for the High Star Council itself. The only time this is changed is during times of crisis, which the defenders of the Enclave will take over roles of responsibility to ensure the safety of Thera.
