Cryus-Thal, the Crawling King

A dangerous predator and scout used by Torog, The Banished Queen during the War of Divinity. This massive creature is thought to have carved out many of the dangerous tunnels and caves throughout Ardicil, and the request of its master. It was greatly wounded by the Solar Xalicas, but was able to escape deep into the earth before the celestial could finish the creature off.
It slumbered for many centuries deep beneath the rock, healing and twisting, and when the War of Divinity was ended, the Crawling King was sealed beneath the mountains permanently. It's conciousness feeds into the minds of those who live in the underdark, pushing them to go deeper and deeper. It hopes to free itself from its long slumber and once again bring about its strength to the material plane.
