Order of the Luna Soul
The Luna Souls are an enigmatic monastic order. Dedicated to the goddess Selune, these shadowy monks often work in the night, spreading their influence around the globe. Their primary purpose is to study the planes, and protect the material plane from them. Their High Curators and their monks act as protectors of the Material plane in strategic positions across Ardicil. Many libraries and studies are dedicated to the collection of lore on the many planes, while militant fortresses are established nearby known planes.
In many places, the Luna Souls are welcomed with open arms. However, they keep a strictly neutral opinion and attitude to local political groups. They will fiercely resist any sort of foreign interference. For those who welcome the Luna Souls, it can be expected to receive protection from different planar threats. They will also benefit from vast hoards of knowledge regarding the different planes. This order is made up of all walks of life, and many orphans find a home in Luna's service.
Most of their followers are dedicated to opposing cults of the Traitor Gods, and those cults that spring up in worship of Bane, The Conqueror and Asmodeus, The Prince of Pleasure.
