The Lich King

(a.k.a. Frosthand)

An undead lich king blessed by Myrkul, Krylov Zietzev, known by his subjects as "Frosthand" was blessed and cursed hundreds of years ago. The infamous Jarl of Dregovich turned towards dark magics in order to keep safe his family from the plagues that awashed his lands of Dregovich as well as the neighboring Necrophast. With great anguish and frustration, The Frosthand made a deal with Myrkul. The deal ended in tragedy, and Krylov's land was cursed, as was the Frosthand himself. His people struck him down, led by the twin champions of Malar, The Beastlord and Bane, The Conqueror, although the lasting impact of his deal is still seen around the lands.
The lord known as Krylov fell into the legend, and the world began to move on. Many years later, the noble only remained in history as "The Frosthand", yet a new entity began to curse the land. The Lich King rose to power, and now seeks to spread his influence to the corners of Ardicil, tempting those who lost their families, promising them eternal life.
It is said that those seeking Krylov Zietzev can find his spirit haunting the Frosthand Palace, where the barriers between Ardicil and the Shadowfell are dangerously thin.
