Terrengeo Desert

Written by ProfessorSputin

The Terrengeo Desert was once a sandy desert populated by seemingly endless dunes. However, the desert was set aflame and melted during the Final Banishment. Now, the dunes have been melted into glass, earning the nickname "The Glass Dunes." The glass is remarkably pure for being made out of simple, natural glass, making it impossible to see the earth beneath it. Despite this, it is believed that the glass descends as far as there is sand, as the heat of the flames was incredibly intense, and the subsequent glass served as a lens, melting the sand beneath it.

Fauna & Flora

Nothing grows or lives here anymore, as the hot glass dunes prevent any plants from taking root or any animals from taking shelter.

History

Long ago, the Terrengeo Desert was home to Emarun. The northern section was almost entirely uninhabited as it was an expansive, harsh desert. It was the southern section on the cliffs and beaches of the sea where most of this nation's population had lived.
