Faroden
Faroden is the Capital of the Aquira Bordermarch and is governed by Greifax Ordwynn VI of Faroden. The city extends out from three rocks which part the River Radon, and which, like many of these mysterious rocks seem to have no right to be where they are, as there is far and near no other concentraion, with exception of the Mesa of Amn.
Districts
The city contains of seven districts:
The Castle District
Once called Kings district, even thought the Government of Caldaven has been located in Amn for over 20 generations now. The Main Castle of the Duke and the Temple of The Wise are located here. This district also contains a temple of the The Starfaith which, at the moment, holds steles of Donar, Perun, Morig Hen, Freyr, Birga, Dagdamagh and the three Norns and oddly also Ogni Bogni. The Western District (Farmers Corner)
The Western District, also called Farmers Corner, lies on the West side of the Caradon Which holds the Temples of the The Mother and the The Ravenqueen which is, as per usual, located at the graveyard. The Silverhide Tavern lies on the east side of the Grey Market. The Keas
East of the Western District which holds Temple of the the Warrioress and the smaller temple of the Mistress which is located at the same market. The Swamp District
lies at the foot of the Rock to the east of the Caradon and the north of the Moradon and outside of the Stone Walls of "The Parting". No temple is located here, at least none official, but it is presumed that the Temple of The Trickster is hidden here. The Parting
is the district atop the rock which parts Radon into Caradon and Moradon. Another temple of The Sage, but more oriented towards the Artisan aspects of the god, is located here. The Fortress which holds the bulk of Farodens forces is also located here.Cliffside
lies on the southern rock, and is kind of the District of civilian famiies that grew rich from trade through the two old west harbor and the newer East Harbor, which are both located in the neigboring Long Bow district, That encloses Cliffside from the east and south. Cliffside holds the Temple of The Father, which overlooks the river, and lies in direct view of the Castle of Greifax Ordywnn V of Faroden and the Fortress. Cliffside, like "the Parting" is completely enclosed by a stone city wall. The Long Bow
encloses the Southern rock on which lies Cliffside. Both Harbors, the East and the West Harbor are located in this district, although no temples of note.Maps
