Sano Confederation
Ah the Sano Confederation. Land of the little folk to some, the Wild Lands to others. This is the realm of the Kobolds and the Goblins. It says quite a bit that these folk have been able to survive here among the beasts and plant life here. If anything, it proves their tenacity and ability not only to adapt but to overcome despite what you may think of them as a people. Aye, they may seem quite mad but perhaps it's that touch of madness or their sly minds that allow them to thrive. You see, it got it's nick names for good reasons. Take a look at the creatures that live there.
Fauna & Flora
This land is home to strange and deadly creatures. Dinosaurs of every kind is found here. The mighty T-Rex, capable of swallowing you whole with one bite; the Triceratops, with it's massive horns capable of piercing even the toughest of armor; the Brontosaurus with it's massive body capable of crushing anything beneath it's feet; the heavily armored Ankylosaurus with it's armored back capable of shrugging off even the mightiest of blows, not to mention it's club like tail able of crushing even the bones of the mighty T-Rex itself and these are just the dinosaurs!
There are gigantic insects all over this land as well! Colonies of bees the size of horses! Can you imagine being stung by one of them? Moths and butterflies with a wingspan rivaling Pteranodons and Giant Eagles! Then there's the Giant Dragonflies that fly in any direction, accelerate to high speeds and hover, and the scary bit? They eat Giant Flies twice the size of a horse and even some dolphins! Think you'd be safe on land eh? Think again! There are Giant Spiders of multiple kinds that eat anything that they catch in their webs or grip! Imagine walking along a trail escorting a caravan and seeing the land itself erupt as a circle of it, about 50 foot in diameter, pops open and from beneath it is this giant spider than grabs the first horse in the caravan, pierces it with it's poisonous fangs, and drags it back into the hole as the horse is paralyzed by the venom. The ground closes up, the horse, cart, driver and any occupants just gone. Another caravan, full of foreigners, just last week wandered into a Giant Ant hill. Within but a few heart beats, they were overrun with thousands of Giant Ants the size of a dog that swarmed them, ripped everyone limb from limb and carried the bodies into their hill to be devoured.
Think you'd be safe just avoiding all wildlife eh? Think again. Even the plant life there are out to kill you. Oh, you've dealt with Shambling Mounds, Grasping Vines and Treants? How cute. Ever seen flowers so big, the smallest ones are the size of your head when they're NOT in bloom? Nothing scary about it? Imagine it opening as it detected your body heat from 60 feet away and shooting you with multiple darts that drop you like a rock, and THEN having vines from the jungle floor, creep up, wrap you up and pull you towards a bigger flower that opens up to be bigger than a house, pull you in and swallow you whole. All the while, you're conscious but paralyzed as you feel your body being broken down by it's digestive acid? Scared yet? How about another that will look like a pool of fresh water, but when you go to drink, the water is an illusion and the plant just swallows you whole and breaks your body down with acids as you try and fail to escape from it? Another that is a fungus that simply infects you when you breathe it in, grows inside you and takes over your entire body making you nothing more than a walking spore bomb waiting to blow up and infect your friends. The worst part, the fungus has access to your memories and abilities.
