In 1100 YGP, a powerful red dragon named Kugarin the Red began to plague the Sultanate of Taqqadiya with a curse that eventually enveloped the whole world in a massive war later named the Meridian War. A brave group of adventurers eventually brought Aemulus' wayward son to justice by banishing him to a far away plane using divine magic.
