Little Voices

The Little Voices Orphanage in Levin was opened in response to the large amount of parentless children refugees from Winterlan. The orphanage is run by a small council of local humanitarians and funded through a combination of government aid and private donations. Due to the increase in population in the facility immediately after filling, The Little Voices Orphanage has begun connecting with other orphanages in other nations in an effort to find placements for the overfill.
Established on the 21st of Onudune, 1775 AF, the Little Voices in many ways represents the best aspects of Levinien culture. The Little Voices didn't simply emerge from nothing in the span of a week; talks of how to best accommodate those seeking refuge from the Wards, the Territories, and even stragglers emerging from the Outer Fringe had been been in the public mind for months. When the first wave of refugees arrived and told the Leviniens of their plight, the populous leaped into action. Plans were moved up, resources rearranged, and a generous amount of Levinien elbow grease applied.
The effort was famously spearheaded by a halfling woman with a heart the size of a goliath's, Zamara Fleetstep. She, along with many other benevolent Leviniens, run the orphanage to this day.
