The Sterling Fox Airway Company

Founded in the heart of Murinechire and now with air docks in nearly every major city in Sedden, as well as one in Sear, the Sterling Fox Airway Company is one of the largest and most influential organizations the world has ever seen. The company was founded by a young upstart kitsune from Decit known as Beatrice.
Bea the Fox founded the company because they had eyes on the sky, and wanted everyone in the world to fly as well. Having spent a few decades in Filyn, she had an idea. Why can't we just take those boats, and put them in the sky? She brought this idea from inventor to inventor, and one by one she was shot down until one day, she found someone just crazy enough to attempt to engineer her crazy idea. That was only the beginning of it all.
Now, the Sterling Fox Company exists as one of the few threads connecting the world. They boast their achievements, being known for their affordable transportation through the air from just about anywhere to just about anywhere else. With a station in nearly every capital in every nation on Sedden, as well as one within the Compact, the company's network of dirigibles allows air based transportation to be accessible to nearly all.

Service Pricing

Where the price of a flight is usually dependent on context, such as predicted winds, political squabbles, the state of the nation you take off in and the one you'll arrive in, how many stops there will be, and the distance of the journey, they range anywhere from 50 gold for a standard common seat in a public room to in the hundredsfor a private room in luxury conditions. Your average flight shouldn't cost one more than 75 or so gold pieces.
The only dock that provides trips to the Compact is the largest of them all. The first, main, and highest quality port, the Gilded Fox Air Docks within Murineshire. This flight is incredibly risky, with roughly 5% of trips taken across the gap not making it to the other side. With this in mind, a trip from Murinechire to the Compact, or vice versa, usually costs around 500 gp, rising much higher depending on quality of seating similar to your average flight.
Every six months a special flight for a service called the Sear to Sedden Immigration Program will take leave from the Compact with eyes on Murinechire. This flight only costs 25 gold, and enrolls any fliers immediately in a the SSIP, where they are given work, simple lodgings, and get the assistance needed to start their new life in Sedden. The Archons publicly dislike this program, but wish not to start unnecessary conflict. So, much like they leave alone the Compact, they have not interfered. The program has been going successfully for about ten years now.

Public Agenda

As far as anyone knows, the Sterling Fox Airway Company, and Bea herself only wish to bring good to the world. Their goal is to fulfill the wish she had for every other, and give them a chance to fly, whilst making life easier for everyone else.

Assets

The Sterling Fox Company boasts an impressive fleet in the hundreds, with five of which large enough and built so sturdy and with such efficiency that they could pass over the gap between the shells and survive the journey. The Sterling Fox Airway Company has been known to harbor and create military vessels, and are known to have a small military fleet of their own that could realistically be deployed if needed.

Pricing Guide

If you are attempting to fly, or your players are in some way chartering an airship. Use the following guidelines for pricing.
Begin with a base of 50 gp for a ticket, with flights to neighboring kingdoms costing such. Every border you must fly over to arrive at your destination increases the price by 10 gp. If the distance exceeds 750 miles, multiply it by 1.5, and if it exceeds 1,500 miles, multiply it by 2. If there are weather issues, political conflicts, or other events that may increase the price, do so at your discretion. Each location can either be owned by the company, or a franchise. In the instance of franchised locations, you can be more flexible with your prices.
