Sedden
Sedden is the name for the primarily water-bound half of Argent. This half of Argent developed it's greatest strengths without aid from god or dragon. Their technological advancements allow them to do incredible feats that those of Sear require magic to replicate. Large-scale transportation of resources and people, personal and mass air transit, the moving and shaping of objects at a scale that a Searan peasant could never dream of. All of these are possible through the application of Seddenese technology. The economy because of this has found itself more open to contest. Magical secrets cannot be hoarded in the same way inventions can, and as more things are created and the tools to create become easier to access those of other less developed nations learned how easy to use the tools of a scientific world were and took the liberty to use them themselves.
The worlds technological advancement was quickly pushed forward thanks to the Seddenese trade powers of Murinechire the cities that make up The Shelf. Their constant cultural and societal push for economic growth forced both powers to advance to meet the needs of the consumer, and this habit spread quickly to allies of the both of them. The Filyndrazi would find the mousefolks engineering incredible interesting, and their society adopted it quickly. The sea elves of Coraar found similar interest in the engines of steam the Elapidae manged to create, and their control of air and water pressure and what the means for underwater propulsion.
