As the first Peoples started to walk the lands of
Tibur, a way of tracking time was developed. This calendar was based on the four moons, which the followers of the
The Founding Dragons pantheon believed were representations of the Founders themselves.
After every moon has completed its cycle four times, the event known as the
Last Night occurs. This signals the end of the year, and the start of the new year.
The moons of Argeth pass in the order of Earth, Water, Fire, and Air. As such, the first month of the year is "The First Earth Moon", which is followed by "The First Water Moon", and so on. Every moon takes 16 days to complete its cycle. Days generally don't bear individual names, however, the 8th day is often referred to as the Ides, or "full moon day".
