Freeport

Thieves. Pirates. Mercenaries. These are what you can expect within minutes of entering the Free Port of Arhor'ha. The city maintains a lawlessness where every man and woman protects their own. This is accommodating for many who are outcasts of society such as Tieflings, Warlocks, and worshippers of darker gods such as Cyric. The shining side of Freeport is that it is a city of opportunity for those willing to seize it. Those that value freedom, individuality, and to test their grit find a natural home here. Crime is high, but over time it has become organized crime. These crime lords address the basic civics of those under their 'protection' and speak for the political hearings of the city-state.   Officially it is a city-state within the Arhor'ha alliance and maintains the only other port within Arhor'ha. Political tensions always run high with the more 'civilized' neighbors. It has a history drenched in blood. Freeport has been destroyed many times over. It has been raided. Razed. Purged. Sieged. Yet it stands to the testament of survival in a savage land that it never, ever seems to disappear.
