Ignys (IGG-niss)

Description

Ignys is the power of fire wielded by the royal and holy Ignysine of Aftara. It's power is bestowed upon humanity and drawn from the Nys Crista.

Manifestation

Fire manifested from Ignys flame burns brighter and hotter than regular flame, at some times even burning blue or white-hot depending on the power of the user. Ignys draws from the chemical elements of the atmosphere and air pressure to create flame out of seemingly "nothing." 
Years of training are required to master the art of Ignys wielding, or fire summoning, and is restricted to the royal bloodline. On rare occasions, the ability to manifest lightning or alter air pressure and temperature of the atmosphere surrounding an Ignys wielder can be learned.

Localization

Ignys users are restricted to the Aftari royal bloodline. Though Ignys magic can be used anywhere on the continent, it is strongest the closer it is to its homeland of the Aftara deserts and coastlines.
